When is a company considered dormant?

A dormant company is one that does not carry on business and has no income for the whole of the financial period under review. Even if the company has incurred such costs as bank charges, secretarial fees, and other expenses in maintaining the office.

When do you file your annual returns?

If your company's financial year ends on 31 December 2009, the AGM must be held by 30 June 2010; and the annual returns must be filed on or before 31st July 2010 even if your company is considered dormant. 

Does a dormant company need to submit Form C?

A dormant company must submit Form C unless it has been granted waiver for submission of Form C by the IRAS.

How to file?

You should be able to use your Singpass to log into ACRA's website and do the annual filing on your own. It normally will take less than 15 minutes to answer all the questions listed there. So Good luck !
